Smart system for monitoring ammonium nitrate storage warehouse

<span>Ammonium nitrate (AN, NH4NO3) is one of the materials used in chemical industry and agriculture. AN not considered a fire risk but it strong oxidizing agent that can lead to explosion, so, ammonium must be stored under specific environmental conditions avoid occurrence dangerous situations. In this paper, smart monitoring system for Ammonium storage developed. The consists three-parts: chemicals part (MCS), warehouse (WMP), emergency (EP). MCS includes several hardware components: Arduino microcontroller, Ds18b20 sensor, MQ sensors, mobile communication (GSM), global position (GPS), buzzer, LCD. Two types alarms are designed, first WMP receive alarm when temperature exceeds than threshold warehouse. second EP. It represents receiver with location place indicates certain gases leakage could cause or explosion. Also, buzzer listening display sensor state on follows object-oriented software engineering (OOSE) approach using unified modeling language (UML).</span>
